Children’s Hospital Outpatient Procedural Services (CHOPS)

Children’s Hospital Outpatient Procedural Services (CHOPS) is located at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon, GA. There, we offer a safe, more convenient way for children of all ages to get care in an outpatient setting. This means your child can get scans, tests, diagnostic procedures, medicine infusions and blood transfusions, without staying overnight in the hospital.

Our goal is to help our patients and their families maintain typical life activities while getting the medical care they need. Dedicated to caring for you and your family, we’re here to answer questions and make your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. This includes with flexible appointment scheduling and help with insurance, including preauthorization.

As family, you’re an important part of your child’s care team. That’s why we encourage you to stay with your child throughout treatment. To protect our patients with weakened immune systems, we ask that only healthy siblings 12 years of age or older visit the treatment area.
