Spasticity Clinic (Botox Treatment)

The Botox for Spasticity Clinic is a specialty clinic that serves patients with a form of Cerebral Palsy that has spastic muscles. Spasticity, or muscle stiffness, is a common problem for children with cerebral palsy. By using Botox injections, we can help to relieve their muscle tightness.

The Botox Clinic is offered through the Children’s Hospital Outpatient Services (CHOPS) and gives children options of oral medication, intravenous sedation, or Nitrous Oxide to help ease the discomfort and anxiety associated with the injections.
